First couple weeks at home

Bringing Coda home was so fun. I was very glad mom was there to help me though. I pretty much sat around for 2 weeks holding my baby boy. I wasn't really capable of doing anything else, neither did I want to.

Chris has fun being a Daddy too. There's a lot of snarling and grandpa-mouth biting when daddy holds Coda.
His faces crack me up. This is a classic Coda face.
My work sent me flowers. That was really fun. Coda also LOVES his swing.
Mom taught me how to give Coda a bath. It's scary when you haven't done it before. He didn't love the sponge bath.
Chris was always asking for pictures whenever we went out. Here's Coda's first doctors appointment. Yay!
After coming home from the doctor this is what I found under the carseat cover, what a cutie!
Jenise came for a visit. Coda sported his "cutest nephew" onesie she gave him. Jenise also brought me tons of my favorite icecream, white chocolate mousse from TCBY, SWEET!

Chris and Coda snuggled on the couch a lot. Chris got the first week off of work, it was great to see him be a daddy. Coda sleeps just like Chris, one arm up and out.

Julie and Dad came to visit and drive back up with Mom. I wish they could have stayed longer.
I'm constantly making Chris and Coda pose for pictures. They are both so dang cute its hard to resist!
We love our little boy. And I'm completely in love with being his mom. He is such a good baby; he spoils me.  i feel like he's very patient with me learning how to be a momma, seems like he's got being a baby pretty well dow. I love watching him change and learn, but at the same time don't want him to get any bigger. What a dilemma. I love my Coda boy.
