Blessing Day

Well not much more could have gone crazy... but the most important part of the weekend was the blessing, and it went GREAT. Coda filled his diaper moments before (I quickly ran out and changed him). Then he decided to be super fussy (not quite Coda style usually). But, he was a champ for the whole blessing (thanks to some pacifier work by Grandad). And he was the best looking baby I've ever seen. I mean... look at this guy.

Okay, so the picture didn't turn out that great since the windows were all being back-lighty... but check out GB and Coda! So cute!

We love our little boy.

2 Months

I always have fun when I decide to whip out the camera and take photos of Coda. I take some in his chair (to watch him grow) and this one just killed me for some reason. He looks SO adorable. Holding his little hands together. Then we took some pictures with a black backdrop. And I thought I was done. But I put him in his bouncy chair, and man was he pulling the cutest faces. So those actually turned out to be my favorites.

NFR Rodeo

Well Chris and I are just a couple of party animals. Yesterday he called me up at the end of the work day and asked if I'd want to go to the National Finals Rodeo. Heck yeah! So we drug our little Coda boy along. He seemed to like it anyways. We got to sit in Allegiant's executive box, and we also got VIP parking (which rocked cause we parked right at the front door). We left early like super-lame parent people. But we still had a blast.

Shania Twain

Last night Chris took me out on our first date since Coda (he's only 2 months, so it's not like it was 2 years or what evs). Ross and Lorita watched Coda for us and we went to the Colosium and saw Shania Twain. It was pretty dang awesome. We both decided that we felt kinda naughty leaving the little crocodile and going out and having fun. We had a blast, and it was fun to pick up Coda. He smiled all big when he heard our voices. YAY!
