Thanks Mom & Dad!

Thanks Mom & Dad! Take a look at our new planters, mirrors, and couches! Things are still a little crazy around... but we got most of it put away. Looks awesome right?! Hope you travel safe, and get feeling better soon Dad! We love you and miss you.

Hey Mom, Help me figure out a background-WINNER

I need to get cracking on my painting for the fair. First I had to figure out a good background, chubby tourists looking around holding their beers wouldn't be the best. After about an hour of creating photoshop files, and 45 minutes talking to my mom we picked what we thought would be best. I have to say the solid colors look pretty cool all together though... so I included them just cause they're pretty. Take a look at the original photo at the bottom. Oh yeah, anyone recognize Chris's feet?

2 Years and Going

Today was our 2nd Anniversary. When I got home from work Chris gave me 2 roses for the 2 years we've been together. Then we went to our favorite restaurant, Olive Garden. After dinner we went Geo Cashing around Idaho Falls. Then we came home and picked out our gift to each other, a canvas photo print of our favorite wedding picture. It might be huge...

Dirt Biking

This weekend my family was up in Eastern Idaho playing in the dirt. We joined in for one day of riding and got to camp a little. For father's / mother's day Chris got new boots, and I got new pants and a jersey. (shown in the first two pictures). We didn't have our camera for the big ride, but after camping last night we went for a little putt-putt with Julie and brought the camera.

Banner for Steven's Blog

Just for fun I made a "could look kinda like this" banner for Steven's Blog Savvy Steve.
Chris thinks it's confusing with the arrows.... but I liked it.

Thanks Abby for the fun week!

We got to have Abby come and stay with us this week. It was so much fun, I hope we didn't bore Abby to death though. With school and work going like crazy, we wished we had more time for fun. But we did squeeze in a blast of a time anyways. I think she thought the 10:00 bedtime was a little lame though...

Abby and I went and saw "Super 8".  We both thought it was pretty fantastic, and agree that "drugs are so bad"
We also we rock climbing. I wish we had gotten pictures of the rock climbing wall we did. We had so much fun, and Abby dominated. We stuck to routs (with minimal cheating) and climbed until we could no longer feel our fingers or forearms. We were so sore the next day we could barely hang on to the grocery bags coming out of the store.

We did get some pictures of the Bomb-Dig apple cupcakes we made. They pretty much rocked. They are a little lumpy... but totally look just like apples!

Chris and Abby also road bikes to campus and got lunch everyday. I thought that sounded like fun, but I was stuck at work... bummer.

We didn't get to do some of the fun things we wanted to do with Abby. So she'll have to come back to stay with us sometime (hint hint Abby). We totally didn't get to prove to her that Idaho snowcones kick Utah snowcones trash. We didn't get to the ice caves (not dangerous Mom and Dad, promise!). We didn't go to the planetarium, or go country dancing up on campus.

Thanks for coming though Abby. Hope you have a blast on your Birthday and hope to see you in a couple of weeks before you move half way around the world.

Oh and I shouldn't forget. Thank you Mom & Dad for the VERY cute present. It is a great incentive.
