Working on a quilt

This weekend I started working on a quilt. I'm pretty sure it is the largest thing I've ever sewn. It's nothing fancy, but since I have to lay it out flat, and it's too big for any of our floor space we moved the couch into the kitchen for the day. Dinner was a little difficult to make, so I just warmed up some leftover potatoes.

 

 Chris was a good sport, even though I've been sewing most of today and yesterday.

 I've gotten about half way across with my line sewing. So hopefully I can finish it up soon. Here it is on the end of our bed. (the other side still has pins, so Chirs was/is pretty nervous about me bringing it in there.) Somehow, with all my projects, he is always the one to find the sliver/pin on the floor.
