All the work Sommer has been doing on our home has brought back fun memories of this TV show. We've been doing it the right way though. Sommer and her dad first worked on putting a beam on the ceiling between the kitchen and the living room. Here are some pics of that.
So we have a nice beam that helps separate our two rooms and it definately adds a nice touch to our place.
And all done! Looks awesome!
Sommer's next and current project is our laundry room. Her goal was to add more storage and give it a better color. So far she has the shelf up and most of it painted...we might have picked a color that was a bit too bright for us though.

She also made a sweet fitted table cloth for our table. And here are the canned lights we put in to replace our kitchen shop light.

Such a great job - It looks awesome! and the additional storage in the laundry room was brilliant! You guys are really doing some nice improvements!
