6 Months

I still don't get how he gets cuter and cuter every month. We've also noticed LOTS of changes.

This month sleeping got a lot better at the end. We had a few rough weeks, but now he sleeps from 9:30 till 6:00-7:00 usually not waking up at all. But if he does, all it takes is for me to give him the pacifier and hold his hand and he goes right to sleep.

He can sit all by himrself for a really long time. He only really falls over if you he reaching way too far for something he really wants.

We started solids. So far he's only eaten Avocado and Sweet Potato. We have a nifty feeder thing, so he can almost feed himself. He drops it a lot, but we've only been doing it for a couple of days and he is getting way better at it.

He still doesn't really roll from his front to your back (I have seen him do it in his sleep though). But he can spin a 360 on his tummy playing with toys.

He sleeps on his tummy now. Flipping from his back in about 30 seconds of putting him down. Most of the time he ends up with his knees under him, bum up in the air.

5 Months

Our little man has turned 5 months. He gets more fun every day. He is giggling a lot more. He thinks it's funny when we through stuffed animals on him, or when I set him up at the park and run away then run back.

He's slowly sleeping less and less at night (sad face). We've gone from 9:30pm-9:30am (waking up twice when he was 2 months), 9:30pm-8:30am (waking up once or not at all when he was 3 months), 9:30pm-7:30am (waking up once or not at all when he was 4 months) and now 9:30pm-6:30am (waking up once... hopefully not more). I still don't have much room to complain compared to other moms... but I'm not liking the direction we are heading...

Coda can sit up on his own (after you get him all situated) and stay there for quite a long time, making small balance corrections. He still hates tummy time, but can roll from his back to his tummy with motivation.

He loves blowing bubbles and talking. And eating, that is still his number one fave. I'm getting excited for next month when we start feeding him food food. I think he's gonna love it.

We took pictures at the park. Coda spent most of the time blowing bubbles, staring at everyone walking by, and sucking his bottom lip in. But turns out he's cute no matter what face he's pulling.
