So internet is a little slow here... but here are a few pictures of Bali. We just got back from surfing lessons (where we all stood up). It is beautiful and very hot and humid. It is the rainy season, but we've discovered we love the rain, it cools things off and since we're living in our "swigs" we don't mind getting wet. We all have gotten a little burnt, but just on our shoulders, so today we got "pro-fesh" surfing shirts so we wouldn't do any more damage. The money sounds like we're in Zelda land, "rupias". Oh, and I learned how to say "it's raining" in balinese. "oo-john". I don't know how to spell it, but that's how you say it.

Arrived in Hong Kong
So after one 1.5 hour flight to a very stressful connecting flight that lasted something like 11 hours, then after another 5 hour flight, and a little bit of a train ride that I'm pretty sure went under water, then a final ride in a taxi, we made it to Hong Kong. We went to bed at some crazy time last night, and woke up this morning right at 8:00. Today is supposed to be the day we get through our jet lag, so we're just chill-axin. So Chris showed me around these rocks that he used to jump off of in high school right by Pacific View.
What a lucky girl I am.

I love Reindeer
I've decided that Christmas Reindeer are my favorite. This year Chris let me get these two cute little guys (made out of heavy metal). I'm not sure where I am going to put them yet... but I love them. Last year I got the silver-y reindeer that are sitting on my table. I love Reindeer.

Chris is lookin GOOD
My man is so HOT! For black Friday-ness somehow Chris talked his Mom into getting him this shirt and tie, but I'm not going to complain because he looks AWESOME! Thank you Mom and Dad, Chris saw me eyeing that tie. It's pretty much the coolest tie I've ever seen. You're the best. And you gotta know that Chris loves the look, look at that face.

Chris got me mystery flowers
So today at work Chris sent me these flowers. When I asked him why he sent them, he told me that there was a code in the message and I had to figure it out. The code is: 783. I, along with co-workers, spend all day trying to figure out what it meant. I still don't know, and Chris says no hints. So I'm still baffled. But they sure are pretty.

Caves!
Julie and the Bull
So these pictures are a little old but I figured it'd be fun to share. Because sharing is caring.
We went to a Rodeo where Julie rode a bull.
The Wind Caves
Here are a bunch of pictures where we went with a bunch of friends up to the wind caves. It's a long hike up in the Tetons above Driggs, Idaho.
One of the kids in our group decided to bring sandals. He and half our group left very early because of that.
Right here there is usually a waterfall ... but ... it's snowy.
Another waterfall goes here.
Here is the entrance to the Darby Wind Caves.
More of us getting up into the first part of the cave. It got real tight and narrow very quick and that was where the fun began!

Carving Pumpkins
For FHE tonight our awesome friends had a pumpkin carving party. I carved a "K" for King. I thought it would be fun. Chris did a super awesome face. Yay for Halloween!

For FHE tonight we went out with our buddies and took family pictures. This is the first time we've taken family pictures since we got married.

Coupon for Beautiful Blooms
So, I was slightly proud of my little coupon that Cameo requested. Not like I can really take credit... since the only reason it looks good is because of the flowers that Cameo made... but I think I could be a pro coupon maker.

Labor Day Cabin Trip
For Labor Day weekend we took the annual Rice trip up to the Cabin. Of course we went dirtbiking/4-wheeling. We usually get pretty dirty... but we're still happy shown here by Chris.
See that tiny lookout on the top of the rocky crag on the top of that mountain? That's where we are riding to.
This is a panoramic shot from the top of the lookout. Sweet huh?
The view was beautiful from the trail too. Here's Chris doing a "I dominate" pose.
We always take a trip to Abbot campground and take a look at the river. This year there were tons of kokanee fish. I wanted to catch one...
We also always go to Baumgartner campground where we can play in the hotsprings pool. They painted it this year... looks so much cleaner.
Weston was a hoot in the pool. Chirs was teaching him how to splash with his foot. Here's Chris splashing Weston.
And Weston about to splash back.
Calee and Weston sitting for a picture at the same time? Amazing and cute.
I'm pretty sure this is Weston looking at Chris after getting splashed.
Stoney brought up his orange wagon of awesomeness. We all took turns riding it down the drive.
Mom and Dad are matchy-matchy
I think those two are going to become serious dirtloving bikers.
Stoney and Steven jumped off this rock after we all got off.
It was a very fun trip. I wish we got to do it more than once a year. And in Calee's words, "isn't it fabulous?!"
